The Waldorf School of Pittsburgh is accepting applications for two Assistant Teachers in the Little Friends Early Childhood Program for the 2022-2023 school year. The Little Friends school year runs from late August (or early September) thru June. The program is open 8am – 4pm, Monday – Friday and observes many of the breaks and holidays of the WSP calendar.
This home-like early childhood program for young children includes plenty of outdoor play in all weather, domestic activities, the daily cooking of meals as well as singing songs and telling stories. The Assistant Teacher will help to care for 6 children ages 18 months – 3 years and will work in partnership with the Lead Teacher in the classroom.

Benefits
Starting pay for assistants is $15/hour. Yearly raises for all returning assistants
30% tuition remission available for hourly employees with students attending WSP

Requirements
A high-school diploma or more
2 years verifiable work with children OR a B.A. in the social services or educational field
Up-to-date DHS clearances (recent within 1 year- state, local, NSOR and childabuse clearances)
