Ready to Work - Reviving Vocational Ed

American RadioWorks has created a documentary called "Ready to Work" about the revival of vocational education in the 21st century.  I caught some of it on NPR today while driving around.  It details the types of programs at Minuteman High School in Lexington, Massachusetts, and questions whether the "college for all" mantra espoused by most high schools is actually working for students.  What is the purpose of school?  The full podcast can be heard here.  You can also read an essay on the subject by the author, Emily Hanford.
